It is widely known for book clubs to constitute of a few families, friends and/or colleagues plus having casual gatherings with a little touch of snacks and drinks. Well! Not Mkali Book Club to say the least, a unique book club with a clear purpose and noble quest to its belt.
A ‘Virtual’ book club with more than 100 registered members, moved by the vision of the club which is: Changing the narrative that we are ‘Wavivu Kusoma’ a Swahili phrase for ‘Lazy to read’. We challenge one another to not just read for the sake of reading but also to become good readers, knowledgeable and better individuals.
Mkali Book ClubA free membership where we read and discuss, review 1 book in a month (total of 12/year).
Mkali Book Club+A premium membership where we read and discuss, review 1 book in 2 weeks (total of 24 books/year).
